If you like to read, don’t mind ebooks and have an iPhone, your choices of software to read your ebooks on the go is constantly expanding.  One of the downsides is that a lot of those applications cost money.  Well, at LostInTechnology, we like to tell you about useful software that is often free.  Today is one of those days.

We are going to let you know about 4 free iPhone apps that will let you read Ebooks wherever you go and whenever you want.

This is the most downloaded ebook reader for the iPhone, and it has been around since 2008. It has a wide variety of ebooks to downloadable at no cost (approximately 100,000). It also has some features such as thumbnail view, cover flow and more to make your reading experience better.

B&N eReader

This app works with B&N’s online ebook store, so you can purchase ebooks directly and download it to your iPhone. However, if you already have an ebook on your iPhone, you can read that for free using this application, and it’s free to download.

This free application enables you to download ebooks from both paid and free sources. The majority of iPhone users have made this application their favorite one, so you should give it a try as well.

Last, but the certainly not least, is Kindle by Amazon for iPhone. Kindle is available for free in the iTunes store. This free application lets you read Kindle books on your iPhone screen. However, it does have a shortcoming. You can only purchase Kindle books using computers. To read Kindle books on iPhone, you just need to download this application for free and transfer the Kindle book from your computer to your iPhone memory.
