Photographs make up an important part of many of our lives.  They capture a moment in time that we want to relive again later in life.  We get to see these moments and remember them through photographs.  We all have lots of photographs, and we often want to do something fun with them.

Collages are a great way to get lots of memories in one place.  You can make one of your European vacation or that great summer you had with all of your friends.  It really doesn’t matter.  It just needs to be fun.  One of the problems with traditional collages is that they take work.  You need a big sheet of paper, some glue and time.

Photovisi is a great online service that makes it super easy to make a collage out of your favorite pictures.

Let’s Make Our Collage

To design your own collage with Photovisi, the first thing that you need to do is choose a template. They have a decent collection of good looking templates and I’m quite sure they’ll be adding more to the list soon.

The next step is to add photos that will form the collage. Photovisi presents you with a blank canvas and you click the Add Photos button to upload pictures from your computer.

Photovisi also makes it easy to crop photos if you want to. Just select the photo on the canvas, click the crop button and select the region that you want to crop. Easy as that.

If you’re not too happy with the dull gray background that is the default canvas, you can select a solid colored background. You can even upload another image and have that act as a background for your collage.

When you’re done with the changes, click Save and Photovisi will pop-up a new window and let you either download a wallpaper sized image of the collage that you just created, or you can order one of the many gifts from their catalogue with the collage printed on them.

The gifts are obviously going to cost you some money, but I think they’d be an excellent Christmas present, if you still haven’t decided on something.
