How to Show Hidden Folders in Windows XP
Posted on 14. Apr, 2008 by Kyle Judkins in How To
This quick tutorial is for all you control freaks out there that want to know exactly where every file and folder is and be able to do whatever you want to it.
The first thing you want to do is open up My Computer by clicking start then My Computer.
Now that you have the My Computer window open, you should click on Tools at the top. After you click on Tools, a drop down menu will appear, and you should click on Folder Options.
The Folder Options window will now open. You should click on the View tab.
After doing this, scroll down to where is says “Hidden files and folders.” Click the radio button that says “Show hidden files and folders.”
Congratulations! You can now see all of the files and folders on your computer.
P.S. Yes, I was listening to Eagles of Death Metal while making this tutorial (Just check out the first screenshot).
