Briefly About the SlidePress Plugin, Before the Q & A!

The SlidePress plugin makes publishing rich image and video content easy. It provides total customization, control and integration of SlideShowPro from within WordPress. After helping create your SlideShowPro slideshow, SlidePress manages embedding the presentation within the posts or pages of your site, handling all of the necessary code to make publishing simple.
Check out the screenshots here.
Its features include:
- Manage multiple SlideShowPro galleries with unique styling options.
- Support for styling presets with design templates.
- Support for launching slideshows in thickbox windows.
- User level management for multiple user environments.
The Q & A
Why is SlidePress Unique?
Our plugin is unique because it provides a great interface for WordPress users to use SlideShowPro flash galleries. We chose to work with SlideShowPro because of their amazing quality and feature set – we wanted to make it easier for users to embed SlideShowPro galleries in their WordPress site.
Until now, a user was limited to embedding a published .swf file using Kimilior something similar, and if they wanted to make changes to the gallery appearance, behavior, etc. they would need to go back into Flash, make the changes, and re-publish.
We have streamlined the work flow and keep users in the WordPress Administrator dashboard, where they can manage all of their slideshows in one place and re-publish changes on the fly.
How Has the Feedback from Users Been?
We have been surprised and excited by the feedback we get from other SlidePress users. The response has been tremendous and we really appreciate all of the feedback and suggestions we get from users who work with SlidePress and WordPress.
In addition, we are working on some other plugins and web application project which will be announced shortly.. We are always interested in hearing what plugins you are looking for but have never found, or would like to have built. Please get in touch with us! or you can follow us on Twitter.
