4 YouTube Based Sites Worth Checking

If you enjoy watching videos on YouTube and want a few more tools to get the most out of them, you are in the right place.  The sites we are about to discuss do everything from mash up your favorite videos into a rotating 3D cube, dub videos and download them as mp3.

Here are four YouTube based websites worth checking.

YtDub

This site allows you to dub YouTube videos with other Youtube videos. If you want to put a great song over another before sharing it, you can do so via YtDub. You can browse and rate videos created by other users.

It’s easy to use, just type the YouTube video you want to use as the back track and then the YouTube video to use as the actual video.  It provides you with options like the volume of the ’Original Video’ and ‘Dub Video’ and the theme you wish to use. You can keep videos either for public or private access.

YouCube

YouCube enables you to create 3D Cubes with YouTube videos. It allows you to map out YouTube videos onto an interactive 3D cube and share it with your friends.

As you spin around a YouCube, the sounds of the different videos fade in and out. You can also browse through the 3D cubes created by others.

Dirpy

Dirpy is a web application which enables you to convert your favorite YouTube videos to high quality MP3’s.  When a video is requested for download by the user, Dirpy starts downloading the video from YouTube and in real time transcodes it to an mp3.

It allows you to define the transcode quality, start and end times of the video to download.  You can edit the tag data of the file (Title, Album, Year etc.,) and even download the video in flv and mp4 formats.

Darao

Darao enables you to watch YouTube videos in a clutter free interface. Just enter a keyword in the search bar and Darao will provide with all the relevant videos as a playlist.

The player includes options like, skip to next, go back, pause and full screen mode. There is no prior registration required to access this tool.
