Find All the Gadget Reviews You Need at TestFreaks

If you’re anything like me, you meticulously research your gadget purchases until you just can’t stand it anymore. I Google this, and I Google that in order to find several different reviews. The hard part is you don’t always know which reviews are high quality and which ones you can trust. TestFreaks helps cure all of these problems.
TestFreaks is a review aggregator. It pulls together tons of reviews about all kinds of gadgets from all over the Internet. It also denotes which reviews are “expert” reviews. This makes the reviews much more trustworthy and gives you piece of mind.
Searching for Your Review
TestFreaks is a great place to quickly and confidently find the review you are looking for. I am currently in the market for a DSLR camera (my first), and I think I’m going to get a Nikon D40 (please don’t be mad if you are a Canon fan). All I have to do is just type in Nikon D40 into their search bar right at the top.
As you can see, I only typed “nikon d.” This was to show you that the search has a feature similar to Google in that it starts giving you suggestions based on what you are typing in. There are two suggestions: Products and Categories. This makes it easy to not only find the product you are looking for, but I usually want to compare it to the product that is a little better or a little worse in order to gauge how much money I should spend.
The Reviews
The review screen is where TestFreaks really shines. You have a great little summary box that gives you a quick overview and links to expert and user reviews. This is great information, but it just the beginning.
In addition to the summary, there are pros and cons, video reviews, forum threads, image galleries, aggregated prices, manufacturer’s specs and a few other things. Whew! This seems like a lot to take in, but it is laid out very well. Navigation is a cinch and I never feel lost or overwhelmed.
I’ve always been a fan of expert reviews, but I do like to see what other real people say about the product, in this case a camera. I am new to DSLRs, so I want to have that information and point of view from a real person.
Conclusion
I really recommend using TestFreaks the next time you are in the market for a gadget and need to get through many reviews quickly to help you make the right decision. The website is laid out well and very easy to use which makes it easy to quickly get through all your research and quickly to buying the gadget you want. What review sites do you use and trust?

Brilliant – this is just what I need. Been using Google (like you mentioned) and C|Net for most gadgets, and PC Mag & World for all the computer-related stuff, but this site might just replace ‘em all.
