Find Out if Your Username is Taken with Checkusernames.com

Everyone wants to have a unique username that they can use across every possible service or social network.  The reasons behind this are simple.  You want all of your friends or readers to be able to easily find you on any service you may be using.

Checkusernames.com makes sure you accomplish this goal by providing you with a way to check on the availability of usernames across many services.  All you have to do is put in the username you want and click Check User Name.

This screenshot shows only a portion of the websites that are checked.  In reality, over 100 websites are checked.  Is it strange to anyone else that the username “your_username” is actually taken on several of the sites?
