Whenever a new person follows you on twitter, all you get as an email is
LostInTech is now following your updates on Twitter. Check out LostInTech’s profile here…..
That’s it! In order to see if the person deserve a follow back, we have to browse back to his profile, observe certain details, bio data and his tweets…unnecessarily taking the most important thing in our life, Time!
How about if we could get all these details in the email itself, so we don’t have to surf back to Twitter.com to look for such petty details?
A new Twitter applications Twimailer saves the day!
What is Twimailer?
It really only does one thing, enhance Twitter notification emails. Instead of getting those boring useless emails from Twitter, you get an information packed email whenever a new user follows you.

What are its Features?
The email includes the classic “User is following your updates on twitter, check out User’s profile here” text plus a lot more including their following/followers count, name, locations, bio, website address, 10 of their latest tweets and a big follow button which takes us to their profile so we can follow them back. It also carries the profile picture of the follower. That’s called convenience.
How Does it Work?
There is not much of a sign up process that you have to follow, surf over to Twimailer.com and enter your email address there. Once you input that, you will get a verification email. On verifying, you get a secret email address which you have to insert into your twitter settings page, under the email entry box.
In the case of DMs, Twimailer states that all DM notifications and other emails from Twitter are piped directly to the original email address you provide. Moreover, it is also stated that they do not store the emails. (pufff….if you trust them)
Let us know how well it works for you. The comments are open, as always.
