arrow I have been using Creative Commons Flickr photos for blog posts for a while now, but I have often found the Flickr search to be slow and lackluster.  The regular Flickr search returns very few results per page and shows lots of information about them.  Most of the time I am searching Flickr for images to begin my posts with, so I don’t need all the extra information.

Compfight is a Flickr search engine that makes it easy to find that amazing shot you were looking for.  Compfight displays lots of images quickly, and this allows you to look through hundreds of images in the same amount of time it would take you to look through just a few on the regular Flickr search.

Settings

One of the best things about Compfight is the simplicity of it.  There aren’t complicated menus or crazy advanced settings.

All you have to do is select if you are searching by tags or texts.  You can also change the Creative Commons, original picture and safe search options.  That’s all the options you really need anyways.

What would this article be without showing you the wonderful results that Compfight brings up?

As you can see, it really is all about the pictures.  I am a huge fan of Compfight and will continue to use it (in fact, I got the opening picture from Compfight).  What does everyone else use to find great pictures?  Photo by net efekt.
