Schedule Your Emails in Gmail With Boomerang

Gmail is the best email service today because it provide its users fascinating features even before they ask for it. Indeed Google is synonymous with innovation, but but it surely missed out on one important feature in Gmail and that is the ability to schedule mails for future. There may be times you need to go out for holidays leaving your work, meetings and emails but at the same time, you need to send your clients follow up emails.
Scheduling the mail is the only option, but it’s not provided in Gmail for default. Now with Boomerang, users can schedule emails for future dates and relax a bit.
What is Boomerang?
Boomerang is a Firefox and Chrome plugin that lets you take control of when you send and receive email messages in Gmail. The plugin for Opera is under development and will be available soon. It also works with Google Apps emails.
How To use Boomerang
- First things first, make sure you are either on Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.
- Download and install the Boomerang plugin and restart the browser once.
- Now, Compose a mail you want to send.
- Near the send button you will see a Send later button with a colorful boomerang made over it, just click it.

- Here, you will be able schedule the email for a future date. You can select from various available slots or specify your own easily.
That’s all, your email will be delivered to the person at that very specified time while you are having fun with your family and friends.
