Did you pick the cheap text messaging plan and constantly go over your limit? I’ve done it in the past, and I’m sure I will do it in the future. We have all struggled with limiting our texting. Wouldn’t it be nice if we could get some help with this problem?
Enter Notifu. Notifu is a great service that will allow you to send text messages online without going against the really low amount of texts the phone company sells you for $20 a month.
How it Works
Notifu is very easy to use, because it is clearly labeled and easy to follow. Before using Notifu, you should go ahead and register. Registering only takes a second, and once registered, you can save all of your contacts to your Notifu account. After registering, you will be presented with the following window.
It is easy enough to figure out what you need to do next. I’d suggest adding in a few of your main contacts, so you won’t have to do it over in the future. You can put in multiple contacts for each person, but when you message that person in the future, Notifu will send the message to every address you have for them.
You can also send your message to multiple people at the same time. This can help with planning an event or a get together with all of your friends.
Once you’ve got the details of your master plan together, you can send out a question to all of your friends. One of the cool things about Notifu is you can send out a list of responses with the question as well. This makes it easy to track the answers you get back. Notifu goes a step farther and will add up all of your responses for you, so you can stay away from that pesky thing called math.
Other Ways to Send Your Message
Notifu isn’t just limited to sending text messages online. If you need other options, you can also send messages the following ways:
- SMS
- Phone
- AIM
- Gtalk
- ICQ
- MSN IM
- Yahoo IM
iPhone Web App
Notifu is such a great fit for iPhone users, because the site has a nice iPhone application. Another reason it is a great fit is AT&T tries to really screw you over on the text bill. This is a way to minimize that bill while still being the best texter in the West.
Conclusion
Notifu is a great tool to helps you minimize your texting bill, and it can also be a great way to get responses to questions you may have across several friends that are always using different services. Either way, you really should check out Notifu.
