Websites I Like 1st Edition

From time to time, I am going to post about some of my favorite websites. These websites will range from blogs to informational to just plain fun, but they will all be sites that have influenced me in some way.

Today’s website is Portforward.com.

It wasn’t too long ago that I wrote a guide on opening ports for uTorrent and Azureus, and most of the knowledge I gained over the years in order to write that guide came from Portforward.com. Portforward.com is a great place to start if you want to learn more about networking and all that goes into it. I may have already learned a lot from this site, but there is still so much left to learn from it.

Check it out for yourself, and let me know about the sites that have made you smarter (or dumber) as well.

yup portforward is a great place, it has the port forward settings for all most all the commercially available modems, it used to be a great tool for me when I was in the Techsupport field. one of the other tools(site) that used regularly then was network-tools.com
