CDBurnerXP is one of the most full featured CD and DVD burning programs currently available. You can create mp3 discs, data discs and burn and create ISO images on CDs, DVDs, Blu-Rays and HD-DVDs.
All of these features come standard on CDBurnerXP, which is free, by the way. In the past, I’ve used several programs to accomplish all the things CDBurnerXP does in one program.
Opening CDBurnerXP gives you the above window. As you can see, you have the basic data and audio disc options. The addition of ISO support is a huge plus, because most basic CD burning programs don’t include that support. In addition to being able to burn ISOs, CDBurnerXP will also let you create ISO files very easily.
One of the other problems I have run into in the past when trying to burn various formats to disc was the always prevalent and annoying .bin and .nrg file types. CDBurnerXP takes care of this by allowing you to easily convert these formats into an ISO.
Another feature is cover printing. Now, I must admit. I have never used any type of cover printing software, but I know that lots of people do. The convenience of having it included in the software is just another bonus.
CDBurnerXP lets you explore your computer from inside the program and drag and drop the files or tracks you want to include on your CD or DVD. This method makes it extremely easy to find and add the files you want.
After checking out this software, I am sold on its effectiveness and ease of use. I have used several other burning programs in the past, but none of those programs have included all the features of CDBurnerXP. What does everyone else use to burn their CDs or manage their ISOs?
