Organize Your Photos with Picasa

Picasa is a great desktop photo organizer that was developed by Google in order to support its online photo social network, Picasa Web Albums. Picasa continues on with the trend of most Google products of being very easy to use.
You can pick up Picasa right here, and once installed and opened, Picasa will start scanning your computer for all of your pictures. Picasa has a very clean navigation system that makes it extremely easy to reorganize your photo albums.
While you are organizing your photos, you can also star your favorites. Picasa, like many other other Google products, has that trusty starring system that allows you to keep track of all your favorites. These stars make it super easy to always show your best pictures off.
Besides the great organizational options that Picasas offers, it also has several other great features. Picasa allows the user to do some basic photo editing. These tools should be enough for most, but Picasa won’t be the program you use to make serious edits to your photos.
Picasa makes it easy to take the next steps with your photos. As previously mentioned, this software is linked to Picasa Web Albums, and this makes it amazingly easy to share your photos online. On top of uploading photos, Picasa also gives you quick links to order prints, email photos or print photos.
Overall, Picasa is a very strong desktop photo organizer that I think everyone should check out. It is how I organize my photos. What does everyone else use?
