I’ve made a few earlier posts about Firefox extensions, but I have finally gotten around to making that large original content post I always wanted. On a side note, if you do not have Firefox, go get it now from this great link. It will decrease browser related stress by 100% (not actual statistics). Anyway, on to the extensions!
These extensions are ordered by which pictures I found first while trying to post it. It’s a very scientific method.
del.icio.us Bookmarks - del.icio.us is a great social bookmarking site that I finally got exposed to over the summer (I know I’m slow, but change is scary). The site itself allows you to access your bookmarks from any computer which is awesome in and of itself. Anything that is awesome is usually somehow incorporated into Firefox. This extension integrates all the great things from del.icio.us into your browser.
IE Tab - Firefox may be king of web browsers, but there are still some occurrences that cause it some trouble. I used to just copy the web address and paste it into the bloated IE, but those days are far gone now. This plugin replaces my need to ever open up IE again. (Pop open the champagne!)
StumbleUpon - Internet surfing has never been so much fun. This little extension makes those boring work days pass by ever so quickly by giving you a never ending stream of entertainment.
Tab Mix Plus - Tab Mix Plus was previously written about in one of my first posts, but since I was making a list of our most used Firefox extensions, it had to be included. It is the swiss army knife of tab options. It has so many options that I get lost of the gooey greatness of them.
DownThemAll - This extension will replace Firefox’s default download manager. It increases download speed and allows you to download all of the items from a web page at once. I’m sure it does a lot more, but that’s all we really use it for.

ForecastFox - Are you tired of wearing shorts when it’s 32 degrees outside, because you didn’t know that cold front was coming in? Or that sweater in the middle of summer? Well, you may first need to consider the season, but if you forget to do that, ForecastFox will never do you wrong.

May I suggest Optimoz’s Mouse Gestures for honorable mention?

Ever since I started using them (since high school actually!) my browsing experience has never been the same. For one, it feels faster. Unfortunately, now every time I try to use Firefox at another computer (like say on campus), I end up very annoyed when my gestures don’t work.
Anyway, great list.
