Besides having the most obvious name any piece of software has Adobe Photoshop Speedup does exactly as it name suggests and doesn’t go wrong in providing a light-weight, dead-simple way to tweak the preload of plugins and fonts in Photoshop. It provides a snappier lagless start up for Photoshop with just under two seconds on my machine.

There is no doubt that Photoshop has become the heavy hitter with photo edits and graphic creation. Adobe has laid it’s dominance down for quite sometime, and with the acquisition of Macromedia, there is little out there to offer competition enough to change the tide of popularity. Several open source applications have risen up to tackle the behemoth, the most popular being GIMP. TweetDeck is a Great Desktop Twitter Client

After playing around a little more with TweetDeck, I decided it was worthy of a post of its own.
