Users are free to listen or download the tracks. This option for downloading, is what separates Jamendo from to the music discovery sites, which restricts you from downloading the tracks.

Don’t expect to see tracks from popular artists, though. It’s a platform for budding/independent artists, songwriters and music lovers alike. I’ve been enjoying it for a quite while, and some of the tracks there, have made into my favorites list.
