Make a Real Difference with SocialVibe
Posted on 02. Sep, 2008 by Kyle Judkins.
SocialVibe is a new service that gives people with online influence, whether bloggers, website designers or the social network butterfly, an opportunity to use that influence to make a real difference. All you have to do is sign up, pick a cause, choose a sponsor and place your badge. Once this is complete, you start earning points towards donations towards the charity of your choosing and various sponsor perks.
I really like the idea behind SocialVibe, so I have applied a badge to my Facebook profile. I’m going to walk you through that process to show you how easy it is to set up this service.

What is Twitter?
Posted on 06. May, 2008 by Kyle Judkins.

Twitter is a service for friends, family, and co–workers to communicate and stay connected through the exchange of quick, frequent answers to one simple question: What are you doing?
Now that you have an idea of what Twitter is, I’m going to show you the basics of using the site.

ITOG Makes Your Opinion Everything
Posted on 22. Feb, 2008 by Kyle Judkins.
I am not one to get too excited about social networking sites, but ITOG comes at social networking from a different angle. They are a self-proclaimed social opinion site. You may ask yourself, “What is a social opinion site?” Well, if you look at their tag line, a social opinion site makes “Your Opinion is Everything.”
The site is focused around letting its users rate all kinds of things from movies to restaurants. These ratings allow the users to find people with interests similar to theirs and engage in discussions about the topics they like. You can also directly compare your ratings to your friends’ and finally prove to your friend that you have better tastes than they do by looking at their rankings.
The possibilities for this site are endless, as the user continues to gain more and more power with each new feature added. I am told that eventually the user will be able to rate almost everything on the site. Once this is the case, your opinion will be more than everything to the site. Let me know what you guys think about the site!
Visit the site here ITOG.
