Christmas Lights Helicopter

This post is more holiday related than technology related, but I had to share this with my readers.  I went to my parents’ house for Christmas and was told about some type of helicopter that we had to go see.  The explanation about why it was so cool wasn’t very convincing, but my wife and I said we would go check it out.

The following video is what we saw, and it’s truly amazing.  Here is a helicopter made out of Christmas lights.

Many of you have probably noticed my participation in the 12for12k Challenge over the past few months.  If you have, you probably already know that it is for a great cause, but if you haven’t, here is a little more information about the cause.

The 12for12k Challenge is the combination of social media awareness and fund-raising that aims to change the lives of millions worldwide. Founded by business consultant Danny Brown, its aim is to raise awareness and funds for 12 charities over the course of 2009, with a new charity being supported every month.

Recently, the 12for12k website got an overhaul, and I noticed a new video had popped up.  I wanted to take this post and share that video with you.
