bioshockAbout a month ago, I announced the new post series, Kyle’s Quick Picks.  To give you a quick refresher, these posts will recommend a gadget, game or any piece of tech that I personally recommend.  My recommendation for this post is the game, Bioshock.

Bioshock is one of the best games I’ve ever played, and it is one of the first games I’ve played that felt like a work of art.  A lot of games are fun, but this game really drew me in with the music, art direction and story.

The game is an fps/rpg hybrid that centers around the underwater city of Rapture.  Rapture was built to be the perfect society, but of course, everything goes wrong.  I can’t say enough about how great the game is and how much I look forward to the sequel that is coming out early next year.

Bioshock is available on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.  If you were wondering about the action figure at the top, it’s a Big Daddy from the game that I got that from the limited edition, and it was one of the best special edition addons I’ve seen so far.

Have you played Bioshock?  What did you think?
