windows keyIn the past, I have often found myself looking at that little Windows key on my keyboard and wondering what great secrets it holds. After searching high and low, I have found some great shortcuts that stem from this mysterious key.

Windows Key - Displays the Start Menu

Windows Key + E - Opens Windows Explorer

Windows Key + D - Shows the desktop by minimizing all open windows

Windows Key + D (again) - Opens all of your windows back up

Windows Key + L - Lock your computer

Windows Key + R - Opens the Run window

Windows Key + F1 - Opens Windows help

Windows Key + Pause - Opens System Properties window

Windows Key + Tab - Cycles through the Task Bar buttons

I frequently use several of these shortcuts.  Which ones do you use?
