Mozy is a secure off-site backup service that I personally use as part of my backup scheme.  When combined with my on-site backup I am assured that I can get my data back, even in the event that my on-site archives are destroyed.  What’s all this fuss about backups anyway?  Keep reading to find out more about Mozy and how to win a free subscription!

Even if you don’t win our giveaway, I’d certainly recommend subscribing to Mozy because at $4.95 per month for unlimited backup (I’m storing over 70GB of data on their secure server), there is no better value.  I’ve put Mozy to the test and have not been disappointed.  I’ve also been very impressed with Mozy support.  I’ve been using Mozy services, both Pro for business and Home for personal data for a couple of years now.  In that time I’ve needed to contact Mozy twice for assistance.  Both times a support representative was back in touch with me on the same day and had my issue resolved.

How We Pick The Winner

At the end of the giveaway, we will use a random number generator to pick 3 random numbers from a number range equal to the total number of entries.  The first number will be the Grand Prize winner, the second will be the 2nd Prize winner, and the third will be the 3rd Prize winner.

How To Receive Your Prize

The winners will be notified in two ways.  There will be a Winner Announcement follow-up article here on Lost In Technology (your email address will not be published) and a notification email will be sent to the winners.  The winners must provide proof of social networking in a reply email (e.g. link to post or screenshot if not publicly accessible).  We will send the winner’s emails to Mozy and you will then be contacted by Mozy so that your prize may be claimed.
